Decent but Arrogant

Love that Alexi uses his voice to promote the beautiful game in the US. He is sharp and experienced in the soccer realm. But I would be remiss to omit the ambiance of arrogance and superiority that travels through his mic. I could do without the latter. Mosse gives a South American perspective and occasionally balances Alexis weaker points.

Still gave 4 stars for passion towards the USMNT.

Alexi is a tool?

Alexi was my favorite USMNT player in the 90s, but the more I listen the more of a douche he proves himself to be. I do like Mosse but not enough to save this podcast.

FAR better than 4.3 stars

I embarked on my football/soccer obsession in 2018. The ALSOTU podcast was one of the first I downloaded in an attempt to accelerate my fandom, and it remains one of my favorite to tune into each week. I'll lay out three reasons for why I feel so strongly in favor of this pod.

1. David Mosse is an absolute monster. If I can be even 1/2 of Mosse, I'll reach my goal of being able to cover the sport in a professional capacity.

2. Great information from around the globe. There's great insight from the player's perspective, and I'm bound to learn something new each episode. And not just something related to the US or Europe.

3. Mosse and Lalas have a nice chemistry and rapport. I get very frustrated with pods/shows that get carried away with the debate and bickering. Lalas does a great job of playing Devil's advocate and appropriately challenging Mosse when necessary.

I would highly recommend the ALSOTU podcast for any soccer fan, whether he or she is seasoned or a brand new follower.
